INTO THE SHADOW

Dark and bluesy, with a hypnotic vocal by Robin and a sax solo by jazz legend Bud Werner. (Recorded winter 2009.)

OF COURSE I DO

A homage to those sweet guitar-picking '60s folk tunes — sort of a Paul Simon/Peter, Paul & Mary hybrid. A traditional love ballad that takes a tragic turn. (Summer 2009.)

NOT ENOUGH LOVE

A full-scale rock production number, heavily overdubbed. All drums and guitars were created by synthesizer, actually. (Recorded winter 2008.)

IF ONLY

A quiet guitar/cello/flute/oboe instrumental originally recorded for a video soundtrack. (Spring 1995.)

WHILE SHE SPEAKS ABOUT THE SEA

An orchestral piece recorded for a documentary about oceans. (Spring 1995.)

WONDERFUL

A bouncy oldie from long, long, ago, back when we were trying to score a record deal. Terrific vocals in Robin's highest range. (Recorded 1976.)

MICHIGAN WOODS

A country/folk tune using one of the earliest commercial synthesizers to recreate birds, banjos, etc. The three-part harmonies were recorded live in our Michigan living room. (Recorded 1975.)

All vocals by Robin Harrower.

All compositions and instrumentation by Tim Harrower.
